Alterations and additions to an existing home in Richmond, designed by 1+2 Architecture. The work included new wet areas throughout, with large-format stone-look tiling wall to floor, a backlit mirror, a floating timber vanity with a dark stone top, and a frameless walk-in shower with a recessed niche and linear drain.

The addition also delivered a new kitchen and living wing. The kitchen is finished in sage green shaker joinery with a beaded island and dark stone benchtops, set against wide Tasmanian oak floorboards that run through to a living room with a freestanding wood heater and full-height sliding doors to the garden. Working within an occupied home meant staging the work so the owners kept a functioning kitchen and bathroom throughout, with new services tied carefully into the existing structure.
